Wilson, now 23 years old, played for the Cardinal throughout his whole five-year collegiate career and became a valuable member of the squad. His statistics, however, do not jump out when compared to other wideouts in this year’s class; in 2022, for instance, he had just 27 receptions for 421 yards and four touchdowns.

Injury had a significant role in this. Only six games were played by Wilson in 2017 and a total of 14 in the previous three seasons.

Nevertheless, he had some major momentum going for him going into draft month. In addition to raising his profile by impressing in the Senior Bowl, he also fared well at the Scouting Combine and Stanford Pro Day in the weeks that followed.

Wilson, who is just under six feet two and weighs 213 pounds, has a vertical leap of 37.5 inches, a broad jump of 125 inches, a three-cone drill time of 6.81 seconds, a 10-yard split time of 1.53 seconds, and he can perform 23 repetitions on the bench. Despite finishing last among this year’s class of wide receivers in the 40-yard sprint (4.58 seconds), he still managed to achieve the eighth-best Relative Athletic Score of 9.55 out of 10.

Wilson has attracted the attention of the Patriots as well and might be selected as early as Day 2. He would join a receiving group that is now led by JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, and Tyquan Thornton. He is a well-sized perimeter option.
